Tom Allen is an artist based in Los Angeles. He holds a BFA from the University of Southern California and an MFA from Art Center College of Design. He has had solo exhibitions at Richard Telles Fine Art, Los Angeles, and Galerie Michael Janssen, Cologne and Berlin. He has been included in group exhibitions in Los Angeles, New York, and Stockholm, Sweden, among others.
His work is held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, as well as in numerous private collections. He currently teaches undergraduate painting and drawing at the Roski School of Art and Design at the University of Southern California, and in the graduate fine art program at Art Center College of Design. He is also the art director for CLAVIS: Journal of Occult Arts, Letters and Experience.
