Julie Gross was born in Montreal and is a New York City based artist who has been painting in studios in Soho and Chelsea for many years. She graduated from Pratt (BFA) & then Hunter (MA) and has taught at various colleges including Parsons School of Design, Pratt & RISD.
She has had numerous one & two person and group shows, nationally and internationally. She’s the recipient of National Endowment for the Arts and Caps grants & has been granted residencies at Yaddo, Macdowell, Ucross, VCCA and others. Her work is represented in many corporate & private collections.
