About SLP Art Culture Commerce: A consultancy offering creative solutions and strategic planning for organizations, individuals and private companies in the field of contemporary visual arts. Services include: not-for-profit development; art advisory services; admin, staffing/human relations and infrastructure for galleries; artist advising; public programming and community relations; client relations, press/ marketing, and sales. Current or recent clients include: the Coalition for the Homeless, New York: David Salle (artist); real estate developer Douglas J. Oliver and the 259 10th Avenue Buildiing; Jonathan LeVine Gallery; Bortolami Gallery; Marcus Collection, MA; and others.
Past activities include: conceiving and confounding NADA (the New Art Dealers Alliance) in 2002 and its eponymous art fair in 2003; conceiving and co-producing the 27th Street art gallery district in 2005-06; founding Arts Editor at Tar mag in 2007; and gallery directorships at Marlborough (1998-2002) and Gorney Bravin + Lee (2002-2005).
