Katia working on Sailing Alone (checking the proof)Katia Santibañez was born in Paris, France and moved to NYC in 1990 after she graduated from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, where she studied art from 1985 to 1990.

She lives between NYC and Massachusetts.

She is a multidisciplinary artist working in painting, drawing, printmaking, video, and photography.

She is represented by Morgan Lehman gallery in NYC and Texas gallery in Houston.

She has been granted residencies at Yaddo, NY. Casa Wabi, Mexico. Albers Foundation, CT. Civitella Ranieri, Italy and Jordan Schnitzer printmaking, OR

She is having a solo show in September 2015 at Texas Gallery, Houston, TX
