Grace Graupe Pillard is an artist best known for cutout pastel/canvas installations of “street people” from the mid’ 1980’s, but on Facebook recently she has created a body of work she calls “Grace Delving into Art” that features herself nude, interacting with public art, raising issues of body-image in mature women artists, contributing to a contemporary dialogue on feminism and the artists’ body. You can see work from that series by clicking here. Her facebook page is here. Her blog of movie reviews is here, and if you want to know more, see her website, click here.
