Felipe Zúñiga González is a visual artist, curator, and educator who received a BA from FAD at UNAM, Mex. City and MFA from UCSD.
His curatorial projects, performances, installations, videos and collective initiatives have been shown in Mexico and internationally, including Museum of Latin American Art, Long Beach CA (2013 and 2012); Encuentro de Medellin (MDE11), Colombia; Calit2 : California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Gallery, San Diego; Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE), Los Angeles; Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum (ACAF); Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw, Poland; El Centro Cultural Español (CCE), Miami, Florida; the Consulate General of Mexico, Los Angeles and San Francisco (2004 and 2009), California; Casa del Lago, UNAM (2005, 2012, 2017), and Casa Vecina (2014), Centro Cultural España (2015) in Mexico City among others.
His work is part of the permanent collection of MUAC (Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporaneo) in Mexico. Featured project: Economy of gesture 2008-2010
