
Peter Dickinson is an artist and curator. He gained a 1st BA Hons Fine Art painting and history from Chelsea School of Art and was selected for the New Contemporaries.
Peter has exhibited in Italy, Japan and Greece is a member of (AAH) Association of Art Historians, AIR and is a contributor to Turps Banana with his Sean Scully, John Hoyland and Katarina Grosse interviews. As well as being part of the Six Chapel Row contemporary art gallery team in Bath, he was the founding Chairman of Bath Area Network for Artists , co-creator of 5x5x5=creativity an arts education programme and is co-founder of The Artbar. Among the numerous exhibitions that he has curated are ‘In Theory’, opened by Lars Nittve the first director of Tate Modern and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at Stourhead for The National Trust. He has run workshops at Tate, Arnolfini and Newlyn, and lectured at Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution and Bath Spa University. Other clients include The British Museum, Bolton Institute, IBM, Arup architectural engineers, The Woodland Trust, The Holburne Museum and Crest Nicholson. Peter’s is currently developing arTag an electronic tagging portfolio service for artists.
