Tasha Aulls was born in Minneapolis, USA, in 1972 and has lived in Canada and the UK. Her work investigates the psychospiritual landscape; the psychological and spiritual insights that can be observed and felt in nature, and the underlying beliefs that inform how we perceive and relate to nature.
Graduating from MFA Fine Art at Goldsmiths University, London, UK in 2009, Aulls has since exhibited in South Korea, Austria, Canada and England. Tasha Aulls’ work has entered the collection of the Centre d’Art Contemporain de Baie Saint-Paul in Quebec and been published in Magenta Foundation: Carte Blanche 2, Painting, 2008, and The Nomadic Studio, Art Life and the Colonisation of Meanwhile Space, Michael Heilgemeir, Edition Taube, 2013. Aulls has taught painting workshops at the Woodmill Studios in London, at Casey House and Creative Works Studios in Toronto, Canada. She has been selected as artist in residency at the Symposium d’Art Contemporain de Baie Saint-Paul (Quebec) and La Wayaka Current (San Blas Archipelago, Panama).
