I have been painting for more than forty years. My partner is also a painter. I have an adult son.
I have a studio in Ridgewood Queens and spend summers working in upstate NY, north of the Catskills. For most of my life I supported myself working part time, first as a waiter and then as a magazine production editor. I’ve had some shows and some awards and residencies but mostly I just paint.
