Andy Schansberg is a Los Angeles-based artist whose studio practice spans various media with painting at the forefront.
While attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design he founded Molotov Skateboards, focusing on limited edition runs of unique shapes and graphics which led to the brand being sought-after by collectors. Andy later moved to Chicago as a founding member of All Systems Gallery. His art has appeared on music packaging for iconic labels such as Mo’ Wax and Thrill Jockey.
His work has been published in print and online with exhibitions in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, and London.
He is active with ongoing collaborative and curatorial projects, and currently developing a publishing platform and archive to include videos, audio recordings, books, and editions.
