He is the author of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alicejamesbooks.org\/bookstore\/witch\"><em>Witch<\/em><\/a><em>,<\/em> forthcoming from Alice James Books in April 2020, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.krisgravesprojects.com\/store\/wigs\"><em>Wig Heavier than A Boot<\/em><\/a><em>,<\/em> a collaboration with photographer David Johnson, forthcoming from Kris Graves Projects in October 2019. Anchored by site-specific meditation and performance, his practice investigates spiritual, queer power, ecological shift, and questions of home. Philip is the recipient of fellowships and residencies from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Peaked Hill Trust, Hemera Foundation, and Wormfarm Institute.<\/p>\n<p>He has taught at Washington University in St. Louis and the Kansas City Art Institute, and from 2013-16, he organized public programs at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, emphasizing <a href=\"https:\/\/pulitzerarts.org\/program\/how-to-grieve-and-dream-at-the-same-time\/\">artist-driven thinking<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pulitzerarts.org\/program\/24-hours-15-scents\/\">cross-disciplinary collaboration<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/pulitzerarts.org\/program\/marfa-dialogues-st-louis\/\">community-directed action<\/a>.
