Her new novel, <em>Sketchtasy<\/em>, was named one of the Best Books of 2018 by NPR Books.<\/p>\n<p>Her memoir, <em>The End of San Francisco<\/em>, won a Lambda Literary Award, and her previous title, <em>Why Are Faggots So Afraid of Faggots?: Flaming Challenges to Masculinity, Objectification, and the Desire to Conform<\/em>, was an American Library Association Stonewall Honor Book.<\/p>\n<p>Her next book, <em>The Freezer Door<\/em>, will be published in fall 2020.
