She has worked as an education consultant at the\u00a0<a title=\"Seattle Art Museum\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Seattle_Art_Museum\">Seattle Art Museum<\/a>, as a naturalist for the\u00a0<a title=\"Olympic Sculpture Park\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Olympic_Sculpture_Park\">Olympic Sculpture Park<\/a>, and has developed curriculum for\u00a0<a title=\"IslandWood\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/IslandWood\">IslandWood<\/a>, an environmental education center.<\/p>\n<p>She was a Seattle Arts Commissioner<span id=\"cite_ref-2\" class=\"reference\"><\/span>\u00a0for eight years and was the 2017 curator of the Seattle Theatre Group\u2019s Re:definition Gallery.<span id=\"cite_ref-:2_3-0\" class=\"reference\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>y\u04d9haw\u0313<\/b>\u00a0is a year-long Indigenous community-based project culminating in the inaugural exhibition at Seattle Office of Arts &amp; Culture\u2019s ARTS at King Street Station\u00a0<a dir=\"ltr\" href=\"x-apple-data-detectors:\/\/0\">from March 23<\/a><a dir=\"ltr\" href=\"x-apple-data-detectors:\/\/1\">August 3, 2019<\/a>. The exhibition is accompanied by a mentorship training cohort, satellite shows, residencies, youth empowerment, vendor opportunities and partner programs.\u00a0<b>y\u04d9haw\u0313<\/b>\u00a0will feature the work of 200+ Indigenous creatives at over 20 sites across Seattle and beyond. Curated by Tracy Rector, Asia Tail (Cherokee), and Satpreet Kahlon,\u00a0<b>y\u04d9haw\u0313<\/b>\u00a0celebrates the depth and diversity of Indigenous art made in the Pacific Northwest. Learn more at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/yehawshow.com\/\">yehawshow.com<\/a>.<i><\/i><\/p>\n<div>She has also directed and\u00a0produced over 400 shorts and other films including the award-winning Teachings of the Tree People, March Point, and Ch\u2019aak\u2019 S\u2019aagi, and Outta the Muck.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As an impact producer, Tracy serves on the team for the feature documentary Dawnland, which aired on the 2018\/2019 Independent Lens season. Her work has been featured on Independent Lens, Cannes Film Festival, ImagineNative, National<\/div>\n<div>Geographic, Toronto International Film Festival, in the Smithsonian\u2019s Museum of the American Indian and Sundance.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Longhouse Media trained over 3,000 young people and focused on galvanizing the Indigenous and local community through film production.
