He was awarded\u00a0<span class=\"gmail-il\">a<\/span>\u00a0Jerome Foundation Grant; Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, Joan Mitchell Foundation Award, and he attended Skowhegan.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"gmail-il\">Brian<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"gmail-il\">Alfred<\/span>\u00a0lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and\u00a0<span class=\"gmail-il\">is<\/span>\u00a0an Assistant Professor of Art at Penn State University.
