Solo exhibitions include\u00a0<em>Metal Painting<\/em>\u00a0at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia,\u00a0<em>The Unloved<\/em>\u00a0at the Groeninge Museum in Bruges, Belgium, The<em>\u00a0Alien\u2019s Guide to the Ruins of Washington DC<\/em>\u00a0at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC,\u00a0<em>The Nudist Museum<\/em>\u00a0at the Bass Museum in Miami Beach,\u00a0<em>Ruins are More Beautiful<\/em>\u00a0at the Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Poland,\u00a0<em>Mirror<\/em>\u00a0at the Pennsylvania Academy in Philadelphia and\u00a0<em>A Whitney for the Whitney at Philip Morris<\/em>\u00a0at the Whitney Museum at Altria in New York.\u00a0 She has completed numerous commissions, including\u00a0<em>Arcadia<\/em>\u00a0for the opening exhibition of the Turner Contemporary in Margate, UK and permanent public works for New York Percent for Art, New York Arts in Transit, the Chicago Transit Authority, the Philadelphia International Airport, the Federal Art in Architecture program and the Flemish National Architect.<\/p>\n<p>Her Belgian project\u00a0<em>Repeat<\/em>, won the Wivina Demeester Prize for Commissioned Public Art in 2016.\u00a0 She is currently working on\u00a0<em>Atlantis<\/em>, a new permanent installation commissioned for the renovation of the Miami Beach Convention Center.\u00a0 Her work has been the subject of several books including\u00a0<em>New York Beautification Project<\/em>, published by G. R. Miller &amp; Co. in 2005,\u00a0<em>Mirror<\/em>, published by the Pennsylvania Academy in 2006,\u00a0<em>Ellen Harvey: The Unloved<\/em>, published by Hannibal in 2014 and\u00a0<em>Ellen Harvey: Museum of Failure,\u00a0<\/em>published by G. R.
