the author of six full-length books of poetry\u2014most recently, <i>The Gilded Auction Block<\/i>, which will be published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux in the fall, and\u00a0<i>In the Language of My Captor<\/i>, which was published by Wesleyan University Press in 2017, and was a finalist for the National Book Award.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>His poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies, and he has received a Lannan Literary Award, a Whiting Writer\u2019s Award, a fellowship from the NEA, and a Pushcart Prize.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>He is part of the permanent faculty
