His narratives feature a world of increasing speed and complexity in which environmental disaster and social inequities continue to generate anxiety of a looming apocalypse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">He has exhibited widely at venues in the U.S. and internationally, including at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Queens Museum of Art, P.S.1 Museum of Contemporary Art, MassMoCA, The San Jose Museum of Art, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, The Tang Teaching Museum, The Wellin Museum of Art, The University of Michigan Museum of Art, Sculpture Center, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, and as part of the New York Video Festival at Lincoln Center and the Melbourne International Arts Festival.\u00a0His most recent exhibition <i class=\"\">Hollow and Swell<\/i> opened at Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco in the Fall of 2017.<br class=\"\" \/>\u00a0<br class=\"\" \/>His temporary and permanent urban projects include commissions for the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, Bosnia, the U.S. Ambassador&#8217;s residence in Stockholm, Sweden,\u00a0 as well as for Melbourne, Australia, and Edmonton, Canada; within the U.S., he has received commissions from Culver City, California; Kansas City, Missouri; Tampa, Florida; Louisville, Kentucky; Austin, Texas; Times Square;\u00a0and, most recently, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Wave Hill in New York City.<br class=\"\" \/><br class=\"\" \/>He is the recipient of a 2014 John Simon Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and the 2014 Borusan Contemporary Art Collection Prize.\u00a0His work has also been supported by grants from the Creative Capital Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, NYSCA, and the MAP Fund.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Based in Brooklyn and currently living and working in Mexico City, he received his Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Boston College and his Masters in Architecture from Harvard University.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/220902655\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_7041\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7041\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7041 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Bright-Canyon1.jpg?resize=696%2C391&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"391\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Bright-Canyon1.jpg?w=810&amp;ssl=1 810w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Bright-Canyon1.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Bright-Canyon1.jpg?resize=768%2C431&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Bright-Canyon1.jpg?resize=696%2C391&amp;ssl=1 696w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Bright-Canyon1.jpg?resize=748%2C420&amp;ssl=1 748w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7041\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Bright Canyon, a Midnight Moment project in Times Square.
