She teaches on Slovene art from 1800 until today at the Faculty of Arts\/University of Ljubljana.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Her areas of research are visual art and the art system since the mid-nineteenth century, with a focus on their role in society. The Changing Statuses of the Exhibition and the Curator in the Field of Contemporary Art <\/i>(Igor Zabel Association, 2010), <i>The Event as a Privileged Medium in the Contemporary Art World <\/i>(International Centre of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana, 2011). In 2011 she curated the 29<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> Biennial of Graphic Arts in Ljubljana, titled <i>The Event<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">\u017derovc is the author of numerous articles, as well as several books, among other: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maska.si\/en\/publications\/transformacije_series\/beti_zerovc_curator_and_contemporary_art_conversations\/\"><span class=\"s3\"><i>The Curator and Contemporary Art: Conversations<\/i><\/span><\/a> (Maska, 2008; in Slovene), and <i>Curatorial Art: The Role of the Curator in Contemporary Art <\/i>(Znanstvena zalo\u017eba Filozofske fakultete, 2010; in Slovene).
