Known for his curatorial eye and tough-minded expertise, Levin has helped build in-depth collections that are successful both financially and in terms of scholarship. A glimpse of his approach could be seen at Spruth Magers Gallery in London, where he recently organized &#8220;THE VIVISECTOR,&#8221;\u00a0an exhibition contextualizing Cindy Sherman&#8217;s mannequin and doll-related photographs with works by Morton Bartlett, Georges Bataille, Hans Bellmer, Bruce Nauman, Fredrick Sommer, and Tribal sculpture.\u00a0This past December 2013, he was seen at Art Basel in Miami walking the aisles with\u00a0Leonardo DiCaprio.
