In the middle of the 90s he developed his photographic style of a \u2019miniaturizing gaze\u2019 &#8211; questioning the reality of the depicted and offering 2nd thoughts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">R\u00e4ders work has been widely published, among in a monograph about his earliest series \u201cscanscape\u201c (published by Actar, ES 1999) about the privatization of urban structures in California and \u201cmallorca &#8211; island in progress\u201c (published by Nazraeli Press, US 2007) about the ongoing manifestation of tourism at the spanish island Majorca. In recent years a collaboration with Peter Olpe &#8211; swiss Professor of Design and maker of pinholecameras since the \u201970s led to a new photographic approach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Marc studied Photography at the Folkwangschool Essen, Germany and at the CCA, San Francisco, USA. He has exhibited internationally among at the Photographers Gallery, London, UK; Fotohof Salzburg, Austria; Kunsthalle Aarhus, DK; Hellenic Centre for Photography, Athens, Greece; Fotomuseum Winterthur, CH and the Nederlands Foto Instituut, Rotterdam, NL.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">His work is part of the Collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; JGS Foundation, New York; Carlsberg Foundation, Kopenhagen (DK); Sammlung Klein, Eberdingen-Nussdorf and the Brandenburgische Kunstsammlung Cottbus\u2026 Fellowships and Grants supporting his work include the Fulbright Foundation, Krupp
