Norden curated contemporary art at Harvard University\u2019s Fogg Art Museum between 1998 and 2006; directed the City University of New York\u2019s Graduate Center Gallery (The James Gallery) from 2008-10; and served as Commissioner of the U.S. Pavilion for the 2005 Venice Biennale, where she organized Ed Ruscha\u2019s project, \u201cCourse of Empire\u201d with Whitney Museum curator and Deputy Director, Donna DeSalvo.
