Neuman is an art dealer, writer, lecturer, and independent curator, based in New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He is the director of Modern Culture, a visual arts enterprise, specializing in the exhibition and sale of works by a selection of contemporary artists on the primary market and the sale of works, produced from 1956 to the present, on the secondary market.\u00a0 Mr. Neuman also had been associate director and registrar of O. K. Harris Works Of Art, New York, and gallery director of Pietrasanta Fine Art, New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mr. Neuman had been the New York editor of the online edition and an associate editor of the hard copy edition of &#8220;Boiler,&#8221; an art\/fashion\/culture magazine that had been based in Milan.\u00a0 Works of his published in &#8220;Boiler&#8221; include interviews with Matthew Antezzo, Carles Congost, Christian Flamm, Graham Little, Victor Rodriguez, Lisa Ruyter, and Gordon Terry; a review of a Marilyn Minter exhibition; an article about the inauguration of Dia:Beacon; and a remembrance of the late Colin De Land.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Additional published works by Mr. Neuman include a museum exhibition catalogue essay for Lance Richbourg, Butler Institute Of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio; gallery exhibition catalogue essays for Daze and Victor Rodriguez; articles in &#8220;powerHouse&#8221; Magazine; an essay for the newspaper of MiArt, the Milan art fair; and a pictorial report for &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/artnet.com\/\"><span class=\"s2\">artnet.com<\/span><\/a> Magazine.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mr. Neuman has delivered guest lectures at studio art and visual arts administration courses at New York University, as well as lectures at Norton Center For the Arts, Centre College, Danville, Kentucky, and Nielsen &amp; Bainbridge&#8217;s framing industry conference, Atlanta.\u00a0 He has, as well,\u00a0 guest-curated group exhibitions at Team Gallery, New York, and La Panader\u00eda, Mexico City.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mr. Neuman had participated in the Internet Committee of the&#8221;I \u2764 New York&#8221; benefit project, and he has helped to organize visual-arts-related events for Binghamton University alumni in New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mr. Neuman received a M. A. in visual arts administration from New York University and a B.
