He began his academic\u00a0<\/span>career studying philosophy of language and cinema before eventually\u00a0studying art history.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At the meantime he was also writing texts and articles for artists\u00a0<\/span>catalogs and for the Italian newspaper La repubblica. He moved to Paris in\u00a02004 where he worked at the Centre Pompidou. Following his time in Paris,\u00a0Simone moved to \u00a0New York to work with Stefania Bortolami at Bortolami\u00a0gallery where he spent 5 years working\u00a0closely with artists.
