Bell makes sculptural paintings based off architecture and found objects, fabricating forms that confuse naming. Using construction materials as her palette and woodworking tools as a form of mark making, she builds paintings and sculptures. Bell has shown her work at a variety of venues, including the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Smack Mellon, Locust Projects, and the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. She was an artist in residence at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation\u2019s Space Program and awarded a fellowship in painting by the New York Foundation for the Arts.
