Born, raised and based in Cairo, he graduated from Hull University, UK, in 1998, and has worked as a cultural journalist, literary translator and creative writing coach since then. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, serif; font-size: large;\"><span class=\"gmail-s2\">He is the founding editor of the bilingual literary website <a href=\"http:\/\/sultansseal.com\/\">\u0442\u043d\u0454 \u0455\u03c5\u2113\u0442\u03b1\u03b7\u2019\u0455 \u0455\u0454\u03b1\u2113: Cairo&#8217;s coolest cosmopolitan hotel<\/a>, named after his acclaimed first novel,\u00a0<i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.interlinkbooks.com\/product\/book-of-the-sultans-seal-the\/\">The Book of the Sultan&#8217;s Seal<\/a><\/i>.
