Evelina Galang<\/a>\u00a0is the author of the story collection\u00a0<em>Her Wild American Self<\/em>\u00a0(Coffee House Press, 1996), novels\u00a0<em>One Tribe<\/em>\u00a0(New Issues Press, 2006) and\u00a0<em>Angel De La Luna<\/em>\u00a0<em>and the Fifth Glorious Mystery<\/em>\u00a0(Coffee House Press, 2013), the nonfiction work\u00a0<em>Lolas\u2019 House<\/em>:\u00a0<em>Filipino Women Living With War<\/em>\u00a0(Curbstone Books, 2017), and the editor of\u00a0<em>Screaming Monkeys<\/em>:\u00a0<em>Critiques of Asian American Images<\/em>\u00a0(Coffee House Press, 2003).<\/p>\n<p>Among her numerous awards are the 2004 Association of Writers &amp; Writing Programs (AWP) Prize for the Novel, the 2007 Global Filipino Literary Award for ONE TRIBE, the 2004 Gustavus Myers Outstanding Book Awards Advancing Human Rights, and a 2002 Senior Research Fellowship from Fulbright.
