Read on for some truly international opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kai.center\/residency.html?fbclid=IwAR2_qdu-yC1f2hz2o3WgPzz9ZWstHgH1563jMABORouZD60xdOhkmErW_a0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kai Art Center<\/a> in Tallinn, Estonia invites artists to apply for its inaugural residency period. Residency lasts from two to four weeks and participating artists are invited to indulge in all of Kai Art Center&rsquo;s activities and resources. This nascent art center will host several exhibitions per year and is located in the Nobelessner area of the city, known for its cultural vibrancy. All costs, including travel to and from Tallinn, will be covered by Kai Art Center. Those chosen will receive up to 20 million JPY and will be a part of the 2020 Tokyo Tokyo Festival. This is an exciting opportunity open to artists both within Japan and internationally. Illustrators from around the world are invited to submit their work. The winner will receive a monetary prize (calculated in Colombian pesos) to develop their illustrations into a book which the sponsor of this prize, Tragaluz Editores, will publish. This year&rsquo;s theme is&nbsp;<em>The House<\/em>.
