He now lives in Washington, PA with his wife, Elisabeth, and their four young children.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><span>The author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.georgedavidclark.com\/reveille\/\"><i>Reveille<\/i> (winner of the Miller Williams Poetry Prize from the University of Arkansas Press)<\/a>, David&rsquo;s recent poems can be found or are forthcoming in <i>AGNI<\/i>, <i>Alaska Quarterly Review<\/i>, <i>The Believer<\/i>,<i> Blackbird<\/i>, <i>The Cincinnati Review<\/i>, <i>The Georgia Review<\/i>, <i>The Gettysburg Review<\/i>, <i>Image<\/i>,<i> Ninth Letter<\/i>, <i>Poetry Northwest<\/i>, <i>The Southern Review<\/i>, <i>The Yale Review<\/i>, and elsewhere.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\"><span>After earning an MFA at the University of Virginia and a PhD at Texas Tech University, David held the Olive B. O&rsquo;Connor Fellowship in Poetry at Colgate University and, later, the Lilly Postdoctoral Fellowship at Valparaiso University.&nbsp; He&rsquo;s received additional honors from <i>Southern Poetry Review <\/i>(the Guy Owen Prize), <i>Narrative Magazine<\/i> (the 30 Below Prize), and the Sewanee Writers&rsquo; Conference (a Walter E. Dakin fellowship), among others. The editor-in-chief of <a href=\"http:\/\/32poems.com\/\"><i>32 Poems<\/i><\/a>, he previously served in various capacities on the staffs of <i>Meridian<\/i>, <i>Virginia Quarterly Review<\/i>,<i> Iron Horse Literary Magazine<\/i>, and the <i>Best New Poets <\/i>anthology.
