Both are born of the spirit and thrive beyond the limits of reason, structure, or expectation. Love, much like a painting or a poem, defies rigid boundaries; it flows freely, often irrationally, guided by emotion and imagination rather than logic. Art, too, is an expression of the ineffable, capturing the unseen, the deeply felt, and the mysterious. In this way, love and art mirror each other. They are passions of the soul, transcending the ordinary to reach something eternal, something beautiful that cannot be easily explained or restrained.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/duane-michals-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Duane Michals<\/a> sat down with us at his home to talk about his work, the era in which we live, and what he called \u201cthe view from 92.\u201d Michals says he loves \u201cbeing old\u201d and that the terror of aging can be avoided if you do it well. <a href=\"https:\/\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/duane-michals-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">To hear this wonderful interview in its entirety, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/nicolas-leiva\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nicol\u00e1s Leiva<\/a> joined us to discuss his first NYC show, <a href=\"https:\/\/ruizhealyart.com\/exhibitions\/177-nicolas-leiva-realms-of-rebirth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Realms of Rebirth<\/em><\/a>, which was on view at Ruiz-Healy Art until May 23. A ceramic artist, Leiva uses glaze to create images on each work. Leiva visited the gallery a few times before the show to get a feel for the space so that the work he created would fit in well.
