\"\"Kate E. Schaffer<\/a> (BS 2006, MLC; MFA 2016, SAIC) is a Milwaukee artist working at the nexus of feminism, queer theory, and Abstractionist Aesthetics.<\/p>\n

Her paintings, installations, performances, and writings, explore the fixity and possibility of time and space.<\/p>\n

Schaffer teaches at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design as well as in Milwaukee Public Schools through the local nonprofit Arts@Large where she encourages students of all ages to consider the possibilities the world holds for them.<\/p>\n
