We hesitate for lots of reasons, whether fear of failure or a lack of confidence in our abilities. But part of a professional art practice is learning to work through those things that hold you back and grabbing on to whatever opportunities happen by. Will you get a yes every time? Absolutely not! There will be plenty of rejection as you move forward, but that is no reason not to pick yourself up, brush off the dust and keep going. Here are a few upcoming deadlines to motivate you.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarkart.edu\/Research-Academic\/Fellowship-Program\/Guidelines-for-Clark-Fellowship-Application\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Clark Fellowship<\/a> is accepting applications. Scholars in any country may propose topics in visual arts, history, or theory for fellowships supporting diverse approaches in art history. Fellowships include stipends, housing, and travel, with varying term lengths.
