We wake every day to the unknown, and sometimes things may not go the way we planned or hoped, but as long as our eyes are open and there is breath in our bodies, we have the capacity to move forward. That is the most basic but perhaps the greatest gift of all.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/areum-yang\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Areum Yang<\/a> joined us to talk about her recent show,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.derekeller.com\/exhibitions\/areum-yang2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Home of Being<\/em><\/a>, which ran from May 30 to July 3 at Derek Eller Gallery. Yang admitted that titling work and exhibitions is one of the most difficult aspects of her process. For this show, she wanted to discuss the concept of home as more than just a physical space, capturing the constant motion and one\u2019s time in space. To learn more about this and to hear a discussion of some of the specific works in the show, <a href=\"https:\/\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/areum-yang\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">listen to the complete interview<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/museumofnonvisibleart.com\/interviews\/florencia-escudero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florencia Escudero<\/a> spoke to us about\u00a0<em>Phygitalia<\/em>, her recent exhibition that appeared at both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kristenlorello.com\/florencia-escudero-phygitalia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kristen Lorello Gallery<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/racheluffnergallery.com\/exhibitions\/149-upstairs-gallery-florencia-escudero-phygitalia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rachel Uffner Gallery<\/a>. The title is a word created by the artist, a combination of the words <em>phygital<\/em> (a newer term in tech that combines the physical and the digital to make a seamless interactive experience) and <em>genitalia<\/em>. This references the works, which have to do with the back and forth between the physical and digital world while featuring very organic bodily shapes.
