Do we ever truly know who we are? Or is life, from start to finish, a never-ending path of discovery on which we continually grow and change? Perhaps the answer isn\u2019t as black and white as that. Perhaps there is an element of change intermingled with some static personality points. And perhaps we eventually grow to understand some parts of ourselves while others remain a mystery. But isn\u2019t this part of the adventure? The knowledge that, no matter what, nothing will ever be the same, again and again.<\/p>\n

Cristina Canale<\/a> joined us to talk about her work features in the exhibition Memento Vivere<\/em><\/a> on view at Nara Roesler until September 7. Diana Copperwhite<\/a> chatted with us from Galway, Ireland, where she is based, though she also works in New York City. She has an upcoming show,\u00a0Reflections in a Dark Mirror<\/em><\/a>, at 532 Gallery in NYC and recently completed an exhibition titled\u00a0Onomatopoiea<\/em><\/a> at Printworks in Galway.
