There are so many opportunities out there. But here\u2019s the catch: they\u2019re not all for you. Don\u2019t worry, though. Some of them are very much<\/em> for you. Part of an artist\u2019s regular schedule must include seeking and securing opportunities for growth, whether that means grant funding, experiences that enrich your practice, exhibitions and more; this should simply be built into your day-to-day. Each week, we bring a few to get you started, but ultimately it\u2019s up to you to find those things that will help move you forward.<\/p>\n

New York State-based artists living with disabilities are invited to apply for NYSCA\/NYFA<\/a> grants of $1,000 each. Grants are intended to support those who experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 crisis. This is the third and final cycle of these grants. The Vilcek Foundation<\/a> invites \u201cyoung, immigrant designers who demonstrate outstanding early achievement\u201d to apply for unrestricted cash prize money of $50,000 to each winner.
