\"\"Nathan Hoks\u2019s most recent book, Nests in Air<\/a>, was published in 2021 by Black Ocean Press. Previous books include Reveilles<\/a> (winner of Salt Publishing\u2019s Crashaw Prize), The Narrow Circle<\/a> (winner of the National Poetry Series), and the chapbook Moony Days of Being<\/a> (winner of the Toma\u017e \u0160alamun Prize). He has also published translations of work by Vicente Huidobro, Christian Dotremont, and Henri Michaux.<\/div>\n


\nIn 2018 Hoks was a poet-in-residence at the Toma\u017e \u0160alamun Poetry Center in Ljubljana, and he has also held residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Millay Colony for the Arts. Hoks occasionally works as an editor and letterpress printer for Convulsive Editions<\/a>, and teaches creative writing at the University of Chicago and in the MFA in Writing program at the School of the Art Institute.<\/span><\/p>\n
