He is currently Chairman of the Advisory Board of MOMENTUM in Berlin and Vice Director for International Initiatives\/ Senior Curator at the Redtory Museum of Contemporary Art and Arts District in Guangzhou. A specialist in Soviet and Russian avant-garde, as well as in modern and contemporary Asian art, he has published widely in these fields as well as in many other aspects of contemporary art.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">In 2008-10 he was Artistic Director of the 17<span class=\"s1\">th <\/span>Biennale of Sydney, in 2011-12 directed the inaugural International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Kyiv, 2012 to 2014, Artistic Director of A Time for Dreams, the IV International Moscow Biennale of Young Art, and 2014-16, Artistic Director of <a href=\"http:\/\/stillinbelgrade.com\/56th-o-c-t-o-b-e-r-s-a-l-o-n-the-pleasure-of-love\/\">The Pleasure of Love<\/a>, the 56<span class=\"s1\">th <\/span>October Salon in Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">During 2015-16 his exhibitions included BALAGAN!!! Contemporary Art from the Former Soviet Union and Other Mythical Places, Shen Shaomin THERE IS NO PROBLEM and Social Fabric: new work by Kwan Sheung Chi and Marianna Hahn.
