He is the author of two books of criticism, <a href=\"http:\/\/press.uchicago.edu\/ucp\/books\/book\/chicago\/S\/bo27315203.html\">Senses of Style<\/a> (2018) and <a href=\"http:\/\/press.uchicago.edu\/ucp\/books\/book\/chicago\/S\/bo5059269.html\">Scenes of Instruction<\/a> (2007), as well as the hasty <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cabinetmagazine.org\/books\/24Hours_Dolven.php\">Take Care<\/a> (2017), and essays on a variety of subjects, including Renaissance metrics, Edmund Spenser, Shakespeare&rsquo;s reading, Fairfield Porter, and player pianos.<\/div>\n<div>His poems have appeared in magazines and journals in the US and the UK and are collected in a volume, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sarabandebooks.org\/all-titles\/speculative-music-jeff-dolven\">Speculative Music<\/a> (2013).
